Passion Project turned Purpose.
Wookies Cookies is a home-grown brand built from a passion project turned purpose. Over ten years ago, the idea of starting a cookie business first appeared — but life took a different route. The years that followed were spent building a career, working in corporate spaces, and helping shape other people’s ideas. Still, baking remained constant. Cookies, especially, were the one thing that never felt like work.
Eventually, it became clear that this was not something to keep postponing. This was the work that felt most honest.
Wookies is the result of that return — a home bakery focused on flavour, comfort, and intentional joy. Our cookies are soft or crunchy, buttery and rich, baked fresh and handled with care. From single treats to giant cookies made for birthdays, offices, and meaningful moments, everything we make is designed to be shared and fully enjoyed.
What began in a home kitchen has grown into a brand built around experience. Wookies is about slowing down, gathering people, and celebrating the everyday — whether that’s a staff birthday, a client gift, or a quiet moment with milk/tea and a cookie.
We’re also quietly on a mission. To rebuild the culture of milk and cookies in Ghana. Somewhere along the way, we stopped believing we drink milk. We do — and we should. Milk and cookies are simple, nourishing, joyful, and timeless. Wookies exists to bring that pairing back into everyday life.

About the Baker
Wookies is founded by Emefa Ababio, a Ghanaian taste and visual artist. This business represents the taste side of her creativity — flavour, comfort, and sensory joy. Her visual expression lives through her art persona, Chaotic Korsi, where colour, form, and storytelling take centre stage.
